Research-Practice Partnerships: Working Together to Enhance Health

MAR 10, 2022 • 1:30–3pm
VIRTUAL EVENT

Over the next 10 years, the University seeks to significantly enhance its research and innovation portfolio in human health and wellness through investments in faculty talent, research infrastructure and strategic partnerships, as well as to strengthen and grow related education programs at all levels.

For this virtual town hall, we welcome the campus and surrounding community partners to join a conversation, moderated by Dr. Javiette Samuel, Associate Vice Chancellor and Director of Community Engagement and Outreach, on working together in research-practice partnerships to enhance health.

Dr. Hollie Raynor, Associate Dean and Professor in the College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences, and Dr. Brad Day, Associate Vice Chancellor for Research & Innovation Initiatives in the Office of Research, Innovation, and Economic Development, who are co-chairs of the Human Health and Wellness Committee for the University, will start the conversation with an overview of the committee’s work.

This event is being supported by the Leadership & Governance program at the Howard H. Baker Jr. Center for Public Policy.
