Vols Making an Impact in International Development

OCT 21, 2022 • 12:30pm
LINDSAY YOUNG AUDITORIUM

Do you want to help solve the world’s most challenging problems like food insecurity, access to clean water, and establishing peace after conflict.? You can learn how to build a meaningful career working for a global nonprofit from some Volunteers who came before you.

To celebrate homecoming, on Thursday 10/20 and Friday 10/21, the Howard H. Baker Jr. Center for Public Policy, Center for Global Engagement, Global Studies Program, Political Science Department, Center for Career Development & Academic Exploration, and the Smith Center for International Sustainable Agriculture will be hosting distinguished alumni who work in international development NGOs for classroom visits, meetings with student groups, and a panel discussion for Friday at 12:30, “Vols Making an Impact in International Development.” Our alumni panel will share their experiences working.

To see other opportunities to connect with these alumni, please visit tiny.utk.edu/VolsInGlobalDevelopment. This event is free and open to the public.
