Established to honor Senator Howard Baker’s distinguished career in public service, the Howard H. Baker Jr. Center for Public Policy at the University of Tennessee is a nonpartisan policy center dedicated to building an informed and engaged group of public leaders through civic involvement, student engagement, and academic research.  The Center focuses its research efforts on energy and the environment, global security, and governance studies.

Through the support of individuals, corporations, and foundations the Baker Center is able to continue to advance its strategic goals and mission. While some donors support the Baker Center though annual donations, others create endowments to support students, faculty, and Baker Center programs. Regardless of the size of the contribution, every dollar makes a difference.
