How and Why the Electoral College can be Reformed by 2012
Robert Richie is the Executive Director of FairVote, an organization dedicated to various voting reforms, perhaps most notable of which is a national popular vote for president, and has been working for the institution of a popular vote for almost two decades. As part of his work, he has worked with members of congress to develop popular vote legislation, co-authored two books, Every Vote Equal (2006) and Whose Votes Count (2001), and spoken to scores of organizations.
