Campaign 101: Seeking Public Office
Whether you are considering becoming a candidate for public office or helping the people who do…what does it take to make a difference? It takes you!
Sponsored by the University of Tennessee’s Howard H. Baker Jr. Center for Public Policy, Leadership Knoxville, the Young Professionals of Knoxville, the Knoxville Area Urban League and the Hispanic Chamber of East Tennessee, we encourage you to take advantage of this workshop.
East Tennessee is home to a long and distinguished line of public servants, men and women who have stood in the arena of politics and made a difference in all our lives. This workshop will focus on the nuts and bolts of running for office in Knox County, Tennessee, but many of the sessions will apply to anyone seeking public office in Tennessee.
