Directions to Parking at the University Center

The cost of parking is $2/hr. for visitors. The Baker Center is located on the corner of Melrose Place and Cumberland Avenue. For events, please park at the public parking garage indicated on the map.

To Knoxville on US 129 from the south

• Follow U.S. 129 (Alcoa Highway) north to Knoxville.
• Take Neyland Drive exit.
• Turn left onto Neyland Dr.
• Continue straight through next traffic light (a left turn would take you to Ag. Campus).
• Turn left at the next light onto Lake Loudon Blvd.
• Drive to end of Lake Loudon Blvd.
• Turn right onto Volunteer Blvd.
• Continue straight through the next two traffic lights
• Turn right onto Cumberland Ave.
• Continue to next traffic light
• Turn right onto Philip Fulmer Way
• Univ. Center will be on your right as you drive towards the parking garage that is attached behind the Univ. Center
• Pull into the parking garage.

To Knoxville from I-75 from the south

• Follow I-75/I-40 to Exit 386.
• Exit onto U.S. 129 (Alcoa Highway) south (toward Airport and Smoky Mtns.).
• Take the Neyland Drive exit.
• Turn left onto Neyland Drive.
• Continue straight through next two traffic lights.
• Turn left at the next light onto Lake Loudon Blvd.
• Drive to end of Lake Loudon Blvd.
• Turn right onto Volunteer Blvd.
• Continue straight through the next two traffic lights
• Turn right onto Cumberland Ave.
• Continue to next traffic light
• Turn right onto Philip Fulmer Way
• Univ. Center will be on your right as you drive towards the parking garage that is attached behind the Univ. Center
• Pull into the parking garage.

To Knoxville on I-40 from the west

• Follow I-40 to Exit 386.

To Knoxville on I-40 from the east

• Follow I-40 to Exit 388.
• Exit onto James White Parkway (left hand exit).
• James White Parkway turns into Neyland Drive.
• Turn right at second traffic light (next to arena) onto Lake Loudon Blvd.
• Drive to end of Lake Loudon Blvd.
• Turn right onto Volunteer Blvd.
• Campus Information Center is on your right. Continue straight through the next two traffic lights
• Turn right onto Cumberland Ave.
• Continue to next traffic light
• Turn right onto Philip Fulmer Way
• Univ. Center will be on your right as you drive towards the parking garage that is attached behind the Univ. Center
• Pull into the parking garage.

To Knoxville on I-75 from the north

• Follow I-75 to I-275 to Knoxville.
• Exit I-275 onto Henley St. (U.S. 441).
• Turn right onto Cumberland Ave. immediately after you pass the World's Fair Park.
• Once on Cumberland Ave., turn left at the fifth traffic light.
• You are now on Philip Fulmer Way.
• Univ. Center will be on your right as you drive towards the parking garage that is attached behind the Univ. Center
• Pull into the parking garage.
