Writers Roundtable

Staff Contact: Jerry Paul

Affiliated with the Baker Center’s Energy Policy Department, this group is comprised of students and staff members interested in writing about pressing energy issues of our time. Our Distinguished Fellow for Energy Policy oversees this process and guides students through the writing process. The group follows a certain procedure:

1. Roundtable members will continuously consider new ideas.
2. Ideas of interest to particular member(s) would be investigated and researched further
3. Formulate an outline of the content of a particular article
4. Circulate the outline to members via e-mail
5. Different members would pick up on certain bullet points in the outline. These different parts should be e-mailed back to the person(s) serving as the contact/organizer of the article.
6. These parts would be compiled and made into an article.

The roundtable has been working on several articles related to renewable energy lately. If this is something that appeals to you, please e-mail Gavin Luter (dluter@utk.edu).
