At the beginning of 2007, the Baker Center created the Energy Fellow position in partnership with the Tennessee Valley Authority and Oak Ridge National Laboratory. The goal of the Energy Fellow program is to stimulate discussion and debate of our nation's energy policy, to engage experts across the globe in our work, and to propose solutions to what is perhaps our nation's biggest challenge in the 21 st century. The Fellow works at the Baker Center and with our partners for one year with the goal of advancing the Baker Center's Energy Policy Strategic Plan.
