College Civic Education
Staff Contact: Nissa Dahlin-Brown
At the university level, The Baker Center is involved in many civic education initiatives. History shows that 18-24 year-olds consistently are underrepresented in all elections. In an attempt to encourage political participation, we continue to implement programs geared toward getting college students to vote and to better understand the political process, including voter registration and education drives. Starting in Fall 2007, the Center also oversees a Learning Community for students interested in Public Policy.
