Youth Action Council

In partnership with Leah Adinolfi from the Metropolitan Drug Commission, the Baker Center is serving in an advisory role for this group of high school students interested in making the youth voice heard. This talented group of high school students work on various projects that increase the level of civic engagement among their peers by leading service projects and education campaigns about relevant public issues. Specifically, the Baker Center has been involved in the following projects:

• Youth Action Council student training using the Project Citizen material (Center for Civic Education)
• Research about the implementation of the Youth Court program in Knoxville.
