U.S.-Turkey Relationship: A Troubled Alliance?
The Baker Center presents its final highly-acclaimed Distinguished Global Security Lecture of the semester. We have the honor of hearing from Dr. Bulent Aliriza from the Center for Strategic & International Studies in Washington, D.C. His lecture will be held on Wednesday, April 19 at 3pm in Toyota Auditorium and is entitled U.S.-Turkey Relationship: A Troubled Alliance?
Bulent Aliriza is the founding director of the Turkey Project at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington D.C., since 1994. He has lectured widely across the United States, Europe, and Turkey and is a frequent media commentator on Turkish foreign and domestic policy. Prior to joining CSIS, Aliriza was a senior associate at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. He had previously served as a Turkish Cypriot diplomat in New York and Washington.
