Michelle Geller

Michelle Geller serves as the director of development and is responsible for creating and implementing the Howard Baker Center’s comprehensive fundraising strategy.

Michelle joined the Howard Baker Center as director of development in 2011. Before joining the Howard Baker Center, Michelle was the Director of Government Relations at Duquesne University where she was responsible for overseeing the local, state, and federal government relations strategy. In this role Michelle communicated the University’s official position on public policy matters ranging from federal and state student aid to local assessment fees impacting the University. In addition to policy matters, Michelle was responsible for securing a major state grant to support a major campus expansion project. Prior to her tenure as director of government relations, Michelle served as Major Gifts Officer at Duquesne University.

Michelle graduated cum laude from Duquesne University in 2004, where she majored in Communications Studies and minored in Sociology.
