Baker Center Living & Learning Community Application – DEADLINE EXTENDED to June 18!

The Baker Center Living & Learning Community (BCLLC) is a living-learning experience for incoming freshman. It seeks to promote citizenship while offering opportunities to increase understanding of our system of governance with an established student support network.

Students accepted into the learning community will live together in Morrill Hall and take honors courses together during the fall and spring semesters. The learning community also provides leadership opportunities for the students, including planning Baker Center events, leading roundtable discussions, and planning social outings for the group.  The BCLLC is a great way for incoming freshmen to engage in service-learning activities that allow students to examine public policies with real-world applications.

Enrollment to the program will end Monday, June 18 or until full; we accept a maximum of 25 members. To apply to BCLLC, sign up with UT Housing first here: Housing Application. Then, fill out the BCLLC application here: BCLLC Application 2014-2015.
