Identification of Causal Effects in Environmental and Energy Economics – July 15-16, 2013

The Howard H. Baker Jr. Center for Public Policy ( in association with the Department of Economics (, at the University of Tennessee, will host a workshop on the Identification of Causal Effects in Environmental and Energy Economics on Monday and Tuesday, July 15-16, 2013, in Knoxville, Tennessee.

The purpose of the workshop is to promote research that uses innovative approaches to identify the causal effects of policy interventions, market incentives and social nudges on environmental quality and energy use.  Workshop papers will be considered for a special issue of the Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization (JEBO).

We invite you to join us in Knoxville for this engaging workshop. The registration fee is $100 and payable onsite by check or cash. The fee covers the cost of food (continental breakfast, lunch, coffee breaks) and printed materials. Advanced registration by July 1 is required and available here:
